Our third and final talk at the upcoming Customer Happiness meetup will be held by Stefan Carstocea, a Happiness Engineer at Automattic.

Stefan CarstoceaStefan is the first Automattician in Romania, and he spends his time creating amazing experiences for the VaultPress, Akismet, and Polldaddy clients. He started out by building WordPress websites and coordinating the support team at an independent theme company. When he is not designing happiness, he enjoys traveling, extreme sports, football, and gaming, all from his home in the heart of Transylvania.

Automattic is very well-known for, a product used by tens of millions of bloggers, small website owners and large corporations worldwide. Not so well-known are the premium services offered by Automattic: a suite of tools designed to help you take care of your website.

During this presentation, we will cover the most common types of issues we see while supporting these services, and give you a glimpse of how we create the best possible experience for our clients. This includes cleaning up and restoring compromised websites, dealing with large amounts of spam or running a national poll with hundreds of thousands of respondents. We will also cover the tools we use in our day to day work as happiness engineers doing just that: making people happy!
