Premium Services at Automattic – A Happiness Engineer’s Story

Automattic is very well-known for WordPress.com, a product used by tens of millions of bloggers, small website owners and large corporations worldwide. Not so well-known are the premium services offered by Automattic: a suite of tools designed to help you take care of your website.

During this presentation, we will cover the most common types of issues we see while supporting these services, and give you a glimpse of how we create the best possible experience for our clients. This includes cleaning up and restoring compromised websites, dealing with large amounts of spam or running a national poll with hundreds of thousands of respondents. We will also cover the tools we use in our day to day work as happiness engineers doing just that: making people happy!
